Garrison Actors Academy is a Non-profit School Theatre Department that functions within the Savannah Chatham County Public School System at Esther F. Garrison School for the Arts. It consists of students who have auditioned into the grades Sixth through Eighth with a performance monologue and met the school's academic criteria. We also provide apprentice spots to Fifth grade students within the school who are looking to audition into our upper grades. Each year the Academy performs up to 4 productions consisting of one acts, comedies, dramas and musicals. Students also gain exposure in acting terminology, acting styles, character & play studies, theatre history, and technical elements. Garrison Actors Academy also proudly participates in The International Thespian Society with our own Junior Thespian Troupe #89064.
