UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS

All Students are required by SCCPSS to wear a school uniform

With the understanding that student behavior is influenced by the way students are dressed and that no student should dress in a manner that is disruptive or has an adverse effect on school activities, as well as the issues related to safety, the following mandatory uniform standards have been developed.

If a student arrives at school out of uniform repeatedly, it will be documented and treated as a disciplinary infraction and students will call home for a change of clothing.

Tops - Solid White, Black, or Kelly Green

Tops may be polo-style shirts or collared blouses, or turtlenecks.  Tops may have the school insignia if one is available, but no other ornamentation is permitted. School approved "Spirit Wear" may be worn.  ALL SHIRTS MUST BE TUCKED. T-shirts worn under the uniform shirt must be the same color and should not be longer than the uniform sleeve.

Bottoms - Black or Khaki

Shorts, skirts, skorts, jumpers, capri pants or pants/slacks may be worn - 5 pocket style (no pockets or zippers on lower legs, no knit pants, leggings, jogging, cargo pants, or skinny jeans).  Uniforms must be worn belted at the natural waist and made of standard uniform material (cotton and/or twill).  No denim jeans, skirts, etc. Shorts, skorts, dresses and jumpers music be no shorter than 3 inches above the knee. Girls may wear green/white/blue plaid skirts (only Plaid #61 or Plaid #45).  Pants should not be too tight.
